Mitch Camp
Activities/Honors
Mitch has over 40 years of experience including 38 years as a PGA Member. He believes that with
proper fundamentals and an understanding of their own strengths and weaknesses each player can
achieve their optimum enjoyment and results.
Before turning Professional in 1980 Mitch lettered 4 years at Ohio State University and was a member of
the 1979 National Championship Buckeye team. In 1980 he won the Les Bolstad Award for Low Stroke
Average in the Big 10 and was selected All American.
Mitch spent most of his Professional career as Director of Golf at Walden (Aurora, OH) from 18989-
2023. During that time he served as a NOPGA Board member (1994-2002) and NOPGA Junior Golf
Chairman (1989-2002).

1983 – 1989 Claude Harmon Golf School Instructor (1 Week each year)

2008 NOPGA Senior Player of the Year
2008 US Senior Open (Broadmoor)
2009 Ohio Senior Open Champion
2009 Senior PGA Championship (Valhalla)
2012 & 2021 Senior Toledo Open Champion
10 time Qualifier for the Professional National Championship
